Wildling Reference Sheet - 'Tarandus' Clan

Description

I was pretty bored today, and so decided to put together a small reference sheet for my favourite of the Wildling Clans, the 'Reindeer/Winter' Tarandus!

They're a shaggy bunch, and there's still plenty I missed off here, though hopefully it gives people a better idea of colours and patterns you can actively use. They're a light haired race, so anything darker than the colour-types pictured tend to have to include another clan somewhere in a Wildling's bloodline. I also missed off that their hooves have to be dark, but they're also the only clan that can have marbled hooves, which is exactly how it sounds.

A folder with each Tarandus/Partial-Tarandus clan member can be found HERE

Their overview has been copy/pasted from the now extended description:

Tarandus - Reindeer - Winter
Homeland: Tverra Mountains (Located North of the Crystal Empire)

Tarandus is considered the oldest of the Wildling clans, and are often regarded as being more deer than horse. Their common features include shaggy fur - often worn in long strands or plaited with beads on males, especially along the throat and neck area. Often they host deer like patterns on their coats. Whilst many Wildlings hold spotted or dappled like patterns upon their hides, it's usually a combination of natural colours (whites, grey, brown, snow white/blues and blacks etc), as well as their characteristically longer fur and lighter hair that defines a pure blooded member of the Tarandus clan.

They are very family orientated, siblings helping to raise their younger brothers or sisters, or wholly raising them within bisier, more influential families. If in the event there is an orphaned foal, either older siblings take over, or a suitable family takes them in.

The Tarandus clan lead a campaign against the wolves that they share their home with, using protection spells in order to keep them at bay. They also train 'warriors' to fend canine attacks off - guards that often paint skeleton like patterns on themselves to show their ranking. Their hooves are usually dark in colour, but can be split, or marbled, in colour.

Said feud with the wolves of Tverra Mountains prohibits interaction of any kind between the two races. Only those who can break the protective spells, or knows the blind spots, can trespass onto wolf territory. Conflict and attacks occur from both sides, many warrior Tarandus hosting scars from their endeavours.

Close to the Melursus clan, due to their similar traits and habitats.
They have close ties to the Nerensis clan, and vice versa, due to their noble natures.
They don't interact with the Philoden tribe much at all, due to distance between them.

Their names are usually shorter than most, not following 'pony' naming logic. Names are usually Nordic in nature.

How do you know when these open again. I’m kinda of confused on how to find out. I’ve been really wanting to make one (such a gorgeous and beautiful species) but I’m unable to figure out how this all works. If I could get a small explanation that would be great. I would lobe to get one of this clan.
